Avon Lake raised me. I attended our schools, played baseball on our fields, and explored the trails in our woods. I am who I am because of this city. I love this city like a member of my own family. I am proud to raise my children in this great city.
We have an incredible opportunity with the redevelopment of the power plant land on our lakefront. My grandfather and great grandfather retired from that plant. The incredible career it gave them both provided them an opportunity to raise their families in our beautiful city. That plant helped build my family and, in many ways, this city by providing great jobs with great benefits to so many. Whatever goes in its place MUST live up to the honor that plant deserves. On Council I will use any influence I have over its development to ensure we have a community hub that provides increased access to our lake, a place for us to come together as a community, and promote sustainable economic growth.
